The Limited Liability Company "BUSINESS SPHERE" (OGRN/INN 1241300004263/1300013531, hereinafter referred to as the "Company", "we") deeply respects the privacy of users of the InterChat messenger (hereinafter referred to as the "Application"). This Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. What information we collect
1.1. Data provided by the User:
To create an account and fully use the Application, we ask the User to provide the minimum necessary set of data:
• Mobile phone number (used exclusively for authorization and verification);
• Name and Surname;
• Nickname (public username). If the User does not set a nickname themselves, it is generated automatically by the Application.
During registration, the User is assigned an internal technical ID number. The data is processed to ensure account creation and to provide the functionality of the Application.
When using the WEB version of the Service, cookies and local storage technologies are used to maintain an active session and ensure security. The Company ensures the collection, recording, systematization, storage, and updating of personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation using databases located on the territory of the Russian Federation.
1.2. Refusal of access to the device's phone book:
The Application does not request access to the system contact list (phone book) on the User's device. We do not scan, copy, or store the phone numbers of your acquaintances on our servers.
1.3. Formation of a contact list within the Application:
Communication between users is built on the basis of a voluntary search. The search for interlocutors is carried out by the User manually through the search bar by Name, Surname, or Nickname. Users are automatically added to the internal contact list only after sending the first message and receiving a reply to it.
1.4. Technical data and refusal of third-party analytics:
The Application does not use built-in third-party analytical modules (Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, etc.) for the hidden collection of information about the User's behavior or location.
1.5. User content:
We process text messages, media files, and calls solely to ensure the technical possibility of their delivery to the addressee. The data is transmitted in encrypted form.
1.6. Access to camera and microphone (Prominent Disclosure):
To operate the voice and video call functions, the Application requests permission to access the microphone and camera. The request is made explicitly (Prominent Disclosure): before activating the system window, the User is shown an information screen explaining the purposes of use. Access is used exclusively at the time of making a call initiated by the User.
1.7. Refusal of location tracking (Geolocation):
The Application does not request access to geolocation services (GPS, GLONASS, etc.) on the User's device. We do not track or store information about your actual location.
1.8. Error Reports and Technical Crashes:
In order to improve the operation of the Service and promptly resolve software errors, the Application may collect technical data about crashes (crash logs). Such a report includes technical information about the error, the operating system version, the device model, and the User's internal technical ID.
Important: The collection and transmission of error reports are carried out exclusively with the explicit, one-time consent of the User. In the event of a critical error, the Application requests permission to send a report via a special pop-up window. Background, hidden, or automatic transmission of technical logs without the User's knowledge is not performed.
2. Storage and protection of information
2.1. Processing principles:
Processing is carried out on the principles of legality, fairness, purpose limitation, and the proportionality of the volume of processed information to the stated purposes.
2.2. Encryption and security:
Any data (messages, files, calls) leaves the User's device exclusively in encrypted form. The Company applies modern security protocols to protect the infrastructure from unauthorized access.
2.3. Localization and processing methods:
Information about Users is stored on the territory of the Russian Federation exclusively on electronic media, and processing is carried out using automated systems, except in cases stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
3. Data transfer to third parties
3.1. Refusal of commercial transfer:
We categorically do not sell or transfer Users' personal data to advertising agencies or other commercial entities. Cross-border transfer of personal data is not carried out.
3.2. Interaction with government authorities:
Access to data may be provided to law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation exclusively on the basis of an official and legal request within the framework of procedures established by the Federal Law "On Operational-Investigative Activities", the Federal Law "On Communications", and other acts. Interaction is carried out using software and hardware in accordance with the requirements of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 21.
4. Data deletion and User rights
4.1. Access to data (Export):
The User has the right to request their profile metadata. Due to the traffic protection architecture, the Company does not have access to the content of correspondence, therefore its export is technically impossible.
4.2. Account deletion methods:
The User has the right to initiate account deletion at any time:
• Within the Application: "Profile Settings" section — "Delete account".
• By email: a written request to info@interchat.net (indicating the phone number for verification).
4.3. Consequences of deletion (Deactivation):
The account is immediately deactivated, access to functions ceases, and the profile is excluded from the search. Previously sent messages remain with interlocutors with the status "Deleted account".
4.4. Retention and destruction periods (Legislation of the Russian Federation):
In pursuance of Federal Law No. 149-FZ (the "Yarovaya Law"), complete physical deletion of data is carried out upon the expiration of 3 (three) years from the moment of deactivation. During this period, the data is stored in a secure form on the territory of the Russian Federation and can be provided to authorized bodies upon a lawful request. In cases stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation (court decision, operational-investigative measures), the retention period may be extended. Upon expiration of the specified periods, the information is subject to irretrievable automatic destruction.
